HEALTH INFORMATION CONSULTING FIRM, THE INNER OFFICE, LTD., ANNOUNCES AFFILIATION WITH COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOR CODING COURSE
CORTLAND, Ohio (July 16, 2008) – Health information management consulting company, The Inner Office, Ltd., has announced that its course in medical coding will be available for distance learning (on-line training) in September, 2008. An affiliation with Columbia State Community College in Nashville, Tennessee, to offer the on-line coding program will begin in September also. Other education programs already offered are medical transcription, on-line medical transcription, medical coding, medical billing, medical terminology, and anatomy and physiology.
The Inner Office, Ltd., operating since 1996, provides medical transcription services and health information management consulting services for physicians’ offices, outpatient surgery centers, and acute care facilities. Aside from medical transcription services, the growing company’s other services now include project management, temporary employment services, medical record consulting, cancer registry services, medical record storage, and document imaging.
The company, which employs a staff of 60, is located at 80 Erie Street in Cortland.
The Inner Office, Ltd.’s classes are open to those who are seeking to pursue careers in medical transcription, medical billing, or medical coding. Classes include training in medical terminology, laboratory medicine, pharmacology, anatomy and physiology and disease processes.
