Informal classroom environment and class schedules "I enrolled in the Medical Transcription program through The Inner Office, Ltd. in 1999. At that time, it was a 16 week program with an optional internship. The informal classroom environment and class schedules were perfect for my family and lifestyle. I felt that the instructors were very professional and certainly knowledgeable about the information. The program was challenging but I found that the staff at The Inner Office, Ltd. was able to prepare me for a position in the workforce as a Medical Transcriptionist. You get out of it what you put into it! "I came away from the program with much more knowledge than I ever thought could be absorbed in such a short amount of time. I thought the material provided just enough repetition that one could not help but learn. "At the time the program ended, I felt that we could have used a few more weeks to cover a little more detail in certain areas. But, the further I got with the internship, the more I feel that we touched on all we needed to. "Overall, I found the program to be exactly what I had hoped for. Recommend the program to anyone "I decided to look to Medical Transcription as a career when my position at Sharon Steel was eliminated. With no medical background, I was a little hesitant about enrolling in the transcription program at The Inner Office, Ltd. My computer skills were excellent so Bonnie and Karen encouraged me to give it a try. I successfully completed the program and internship and have been able to work from home since 1999. Due to the flexibility of my schedule, I was able to participate in many of my children's activities during their teen-age years.
